Privacy Policy
Effective August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information AutoJo / JoPlate collects when you use our mobile application and website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are based in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and are the controller of the information described here.

4. Service providers we share data with
We use the following third parties to run the app. Each receives only what it needs, and processes it under its own terms.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or a competent authority in Jordan; to enforce our Terms of Use; to protect the rights, safety, or property of AutoJo, our users, or the public; and to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Tracking and your choices on iOS
On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing your device advertising identifier for advertising measurement. If you decline, we do not access it, and the app continues to work normally. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
You can also control location permission, camera and photo access, and push notifications from your device settings. Declining location prevents automatic nearby-service matching, and you can still enter an address manually.
6. How long we keep information
- Account information is kept while your account is active.
- Listings are kept while published, and for a period afterwards so that transaction history and disputes can be resolved.
- Order, payment, and purchase records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
- Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and improve our service.
- Crash and usage analytics are kept in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
- After you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal information, except where we must keep it to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. Backup copies are purged on a rolling basis.
7. Your rights
- Access — you can view and edit most of your information in the app under Profile → Account.
- Correction — you can correct your name, email, phone number, saved vehicles, and addresses in the app.
- Deletion — you can delete your account from Profile → Account. This removes your listings and personal information, subject to the retention rules above. Unused tickets and any unused part of a subscription period are forfeited.
- Objection and restriction — you can ask us to stop using your information for marketing, or to restrict processing, by contacting us.
- Portability — you can ask us for a copy of the information you have provided to us.
- Withdrawing permission — you can withdraw device permissions at any time in your device settings.
To exercise a right that is not available in the app, write to jo1plates@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls on our administrative tools, and server-side rules restricting who can read and write each record. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers operate globally, so your information may be stored and processed on servers outside Jordan, including in the European Union and the United States. Where we transfer information internationally we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers under their own data protection commitments.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date at the top. Where a change is material we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
12. Contact us
For any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, write to jo1plates@outlook.com, or use Profile → Support in the app.
